This hands-on program is specifically designed for aspiring Certified Floral Designers (CFD®) and AIFD PFDE candidates. We will equip you with the practical skills and conceptual mastery needed to excel in the 2026 PFDE exam.
Course Overview
This intensive, one-day course will concentrate on individual categories of the PFDE, with a strong emphasis on personalized focus for each participant. Our curriculum prioritizes the individual needs of aspiring designers, allowing for tailored guidance that enhances both practical self-understanding and skills development.
You will receive professional analysis from experienced AIFD evaluators, ensuring you excel in your strengths while pinpointing specific areas for improvement. Our advanced techniques will help you achieve high scores across categories such as dominance, rhythm, and contrast.
Morning Session (10 AM – 12 PM)
• Experience a simulated high-pressure environment with a mock evaluation on a specific category:
o Sympathy/Tribute Arrangements
o Wedding Designs (e.g., Bouquets, Centerpieces)
o Flowers to Wear (e.g., Corsages, Boutonnieres)
o General Arrangements
• Conduct an individual SWOT analysis to identify personal strengths and weaknesses.
Afternoon Session (2 PM – 4:30 PM)
• Receive individualized recommendations based on opportunities identified during the morning session.
• Explore at least three innovative techniques tailored to your learning style and goals.
• Participate in a mock rerun of your design, utilizing feedback and insights gained throughout the day.
